About Our Mobile Tyre Service

What is a mobile tyre fitting service?

A mobile tyre fitting service brings the garage to you, fitting or repairing tyres at your home, workplace, or the roadside. A fully equipped van carries the tyres, tools, and balancing equipment needed to do the job on the spot. You skip the trip to a garage and the wait in a reception area. TyresFlow runs this service right across the UK, 24 hours a day.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover every UK postcode, with mobile tyre fitters across the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, the Midlands, the South East, and beyond. We also reach drivers on major motorways, including the M1, M4, M5, M6, M25, and many more. Wherever you are, we’ll send the nearest available fitter to you.

What types of vehicles do you cover?

We fit and repair tyres for cars, vans, caravans, and trucks across the UK. Whether you drive a small hatchback, an electric saloon, a commercial van, a touring caravan, or an HGV, we carry the right equipment for the job. Larger commercial and truck tyres are handled by fitters trained for heavier vehicles. Just tell us your vehicle when you book so we can send the right van.

Is mobile tyre fitting as good as going to a garage?

Yes, our mobile service is carried out to the same standard as a fixed garage. Our fitters use proper workshop-grade equipment, including on-site wheel balancing and valve replacement, so the finished job is identical. The difference is convenience: you don’t queue, you don’t wait, and you don’t risk driving on a damaged tyre. For many drivers, it’s faster and easier than visiting a garage.

Booking & Appointments

How do I book a mobile tyre fitting?

Booking takes just a couple of minutes by phone or WhatsApp. Call us on +44 7577 325484 or send a message, tell us your tyre size, location, and what’s happened, and we’ll arrange a fitter. We’ll confirm a price and an arrival window before anyone is dispatched.

What information do I need to book?

To book, you’ll need your tyre size, your location, and ideally your vehicle registration. The tyre size is printed on the sidewall and reads something like 205 55 R16 91 W. Share your postcode or live location so we can send the nearest fitter, and let us know what’s happened: a puncture, a blowout, or tyres worn down and due for replacement.

How quickly can you reach me?

Our rapid-response team aims to reach you within 45 minutes anywhere we operate. Actual timing depends on your location, traffic, and how busy the day is, so we’ll give you a realistic arrival window when you book. For roadside emergencies, we prioritise getting to you as quickly and safely as possible. Because we’re available 24/7, there’s no need to wait for normal opening hours.

Are you really available 24/7?

Yes, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Tyre emergencies rarely happen at convenient times, so our emergency mobile tyre service is always on call. Whether it’s the middle of the night or a busy weekday morning, you can reach us.

Do I need to be there while you fit the tyres?

You don’t always need to be present, but we do need access to your vehicle and keys, plus the locking wheel nut key if your wheels have one. Many customers leave the car on the driveway and carry on working from home or at the office. If you’d rather not be there, just arrange access with us in advance, and we’ll confirm the job is done before we leave.

Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Yes, just let us know as soon as possible if your plans change, and we’ll do our best to rearrange a time that suits you. The sooner you tell us, the easier it is to free up the slot for another driver. Contact us by phone or WhatsApp to make any changes.

Tyres, Fitting & What’s Included

Which tyre brands do you fit?

We supply and fit tyres from the manufacturers UK drivers trust most, including Michelin, Continental, Pirelli, Goodyear, Dunlop, Yokohama, Kumho, and Firestone. Alongside these premium names, we stock reliable budget and mid-range options to suit every wallet. We’ll match the tyre to your vehicle, your typical mileage, and your budget. If you have a preferred brand, just tell us when you book.

Can I choose between budget and premium tyres?

Absolutely. We carry everything from economy options for lower-mileage drivers to leading premium brands for performance and longevity. Our fitter will explain the differences so you can choose what’s right for your driving and your budget. There’s no pressure to upgrade; you decide.

Do you fit run-flat tyres and handle TPMS sensors and valves?

Yes, we fit run-flat tyres and work with vehicles fitted with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). A new rubber valve is fitted as standard with every new tyre, and we’ll advise you if a TPMS sensor needs attention. Wheel balancing is included so your new tyre runs smoothly at speed. If you’re unsure whether your car uses run-flats, check the sidewall markings or simply ask us.

Do you balance the wheels and take away my old tyres?

Yes, wheel balancing is included as standard with every tyre we fit, so your new tyre runs smoothly and evenly. We also take your old tyre away for responsible disposal, so there’s no mess left behind and no extra trip for you. It’s all part of the service.

Can you fit tyres on electric vehicles (EVs)?

Yes, we regularly fit tyres on electric and hybrid vehicles, including models like Tesla. EVs are heavier and often need specific tyres designed for the extra weight and instant torque, and we’ll make sure you get the correct fitment. Just let us know your vehicle when you book.

How do I find my tyre size?

Your tyre size is printed on the sidewall of your existing tyre. It’s a sequence that looks like 205 55 R16 91 W, where the numbers and letters describe the width, profile, wheel diameter, load index, and speed rating. If you can read this off any of your tyres (or send us a photo) we can match the correct replacement.

Repairs & Tyre Safety

Can my puncture be repaired, or do I need a new tyre?

A puncture can usually be repaired only if it sits within the central three-quarters of the tread and the hole is no larger than 6mm. This follows British Standard BS AU 159, the rule that professional fitters in the UK must work to. Damage to the sidewall or shoulder, holes over 6mm, or a tyre that has been driven on while flat cannot be safely repaired and will need replacing. Our fitter inspects the tyre first and tells you honestly which option applies.

How do I know when my tyres need replacing?

You legally need at least 1.6mm of tread across the central three-quarters of the tyre, all the way around. A quick check is the 20p test: pop a 20p coin into the main tread grooves, and if you can see the coin’s outer band, your tread may be too low. Cracks, bulges, or exposed cords also mean a tyre should be replaced straight away. If in doubt, ask our fitter to check.

Is it illegal to drive on a worn or damaged tyre?

Yes, driving on a defective or illegal tyre is against the law and dangerous. You can be fined up to £2,500 and given three penalty points per tyre, so a single set of bad tyres could be very costly. A worn or damaged tyre also has far less grip and is much more likely to fail. If your tyre is unsafe to drive on, call us, and we’ll come to you rather than you risking the journey.

Do I need a spare tyre for you to help me?

No, you don’t need a spare. We bring the replacement tyre directly to your location, so there’s no need to fit a space-saver or be recovered to a garage. Many modern cars no longer come with a spare wheel at all, which is exactly why a mobile service is so useful. If you do have a spare and just want help fitting it, we can do that too.

Pricing & Payment

How much does mobile tyre fitting cost?

As a rough guide, mobile puncture repairs typically fall between £25 and £50, while supplying and fitting a new tyre usually ranges from around £50 for an economy tyre to £200 or more for a premium one. The exact price depends on your tyre size, the brand you choose, your vehicle, and the service you need. These figures are estimates only; our experts confirm your precise price on your first call, before any work begins.

Are there any hidden fees or callout charges?

No. With TyresFlow, there’s no membership, no subscription, and no surprise charges added at the end. The price we quote on your first call is the price you pay, agreed before we lift a single wheel nut. Wheel balancing and old-tyre disposal are included, so there’s nothing extra to sort afterwards.

How do I pay?

Payment is taken securely once the work is complete, and we’ll confirm the accepted payment methods when you book. There’s no need to pay anything before your fitter arrives. If you have any questions about payment, ask when you call.
